On-Vehicle Camera Platform
Unified with trackingEyes in every vehicle. One platform with your tracking.
Our own platform, built in-house on Hikvision protocols (not HikCentral). Live dashcam streams, clip retrieval, face capture, event playback — unified with our GPS tracking platform.
Capabilities
What the camera platform delivers.
Pull a live view from any camera in the fleet, on-demand, in under 3 seconds.
Search by event, geofence, or time. Pull a clip from device SD card to cloud in one click.
Driver-facing camera captures the face on every trip start — for proof of driver, not surveillance.
Hard-braking, sudden lane change, panic — auto-clipped 30s before and after.
One timeline, one map, one login — same dashboard as your GPS tracking.
Built in-house on Hikvision protocols (not HikCentral). Full control over the integration.
How it works
From kick-off to live in production
We pick Hikvision dashcams to match the vehicle: cabin only, multi-channel, AI dashcam, or AHD analogue.
Field install team mounts cameras, wires power, and binds each unit to the vehicle in the platform.
Streams come up, events flow in, clip retrieval tested. Operators trained on the workflow.
FAQ
Common questions
Which Hikvision models are supported?
Most current MDVR and AI Dashcam models are supported, including the DS-MP series, AE-MD series, and the Connect AI dashcams. Older AHD/analogue cameras are supported via MDVR.
Why not HikCentral?
HikCentral is built for static surveillance, not vehicle telematics. Our platform handles cellular connectivity, vehicle-aware events, and is unified with GPS tracking out of the box.
How much data does this use?
Live streams use 200-800 KB/s depending on resolution. Clip retrieval is on-demand only, so daily data per vehicle is typically under 50 MB on standard usage.
Can we limit live access by user?
Yes — RBAC down to per-user, per-vehicle, per-camera. Audit log of every stream watched.
